  1. Day1 Porto | Pinhão (boat ride in Douro)

    Meet at the airport in the Porto and van transfer to Pinhão. After a light lunch, you will explore the Douro river on a small boat. Back in Pinhão, you can just relax by your inn’s outdoor pool.
    Overnight in Pinhão.

  2. Day2 Cycling Tour 1: Sabrosa | Quinta Nova (35 km)

    Transfer to Sabrosa. Short ride with great views of the Port wine vineyards planted on terraces. You can stop at Quinta Nova after a short climb from the Douro River. Or you can also choose to continue to Pinhão (adds 15 km / 9 mi). In the afternoon you can visit the Douro Museum in Régua. Optionally you can pedal until Régua (approx. 25 km / 15 mi from Pinhão), mostly flat terrain, along the Douro River.

  3. Day3 Cycling Tour 2: Pinhão - Pocinho | Marialva (52 km)

    Before you start spinning the pedals you will take a short tour by train to the village of Pocinho using an old railway that follows the Douro river in all its beauty. On the way to Marialva – one of Portugal’s Historical Villages – you will stop to visit the Côa Museum. Your inn has a small SPA and a beautiful outdoor swimming pool overlooking Marialva´s castle.

  4. Day4 Cycling Tour 3: Marialva loop (49 km)

    Today you will ride on the way to the town of Trancoso, another Historical Village of Portugal. Expect some climbing but also breathtaking views, passing by Moreira de Rei with its castle. On the way back pass by Souto Maior or Ribeira do Freixo and several small typical villages.

  5. Day5 Cycling Tour 4: Marialva | Castelo Rodrigo (55 km)

    Today you will connect two Historical Villages – Marialva and Castelo Rodrigo. These two medieval walled villages will take you back in time, to when the brave inhabitants of these villages fought against the Spanish invaders.
    Overnight in Castelo Rodrigo.

  6. Day6 Cycling Tour 5: Castelo Rodrigo | Barca de Alva (35 km)

    Enjoy great views of Port Wine vineyards along the bicycle route that takes you to Barca de Alva. In Barca de Alva you will have lunch on the shore of the Douro River. I don´t feel like riding you can stay home or go for a donkey ride. If you ride to Barca de Alva you have to return to Castelo Rodrigo.
    Overnight in Castelo Rodrigo.

  7. Day7 Castelo Rodrigo | Almeida | Porto

    Transfer to Porto. On the way, you will stop to visit the Historical Village of Almeida. In Porto, you will visit a Port Wine cellar, where you can taste some of Portugal’s best Port wines. In the afternoon explore this exciting and unique city. Your hotel is located near the Praça da Ribeira, the heart of the historical center of Porto.
    Overnight in Porto.

  8. Day8 Departure

    Morning van transfer to Porto airport.
